Small sardines in olive from Cabo de Penas. Spain

These very small, delicate sardines are soft and have bones that melt in your mouth. They taste of the sea without being fishy or unpleasant. The sardines are from Rias Gallegas where the cannery Cabo de Peñas was founded in 1898 and is one of the quintessential Galician conservas brands.
