Razor Clams: Conservas Cambados

$15.00

Razor clams in brine from Conservas de Cambados. Spain

These sardines are harvested in small batches from the cool waters of the Rias, tidal rivers in north western Spain. They are carefully prepared and packed by hand in olive oil. The result is a tender, mild sardine, with the delicate taste of the sea but without any strong fishy flavors.

The seas off the coast of Galicia in Northwest Spain are cool and rich in nutrients, making them an incredible fishing ground. Conservas de Cambados is located close to one of Spain’s largest Rías (estuaries), known as the 'Ría de Arosa'. Their facilities are very close to where the seafood is harvested, so they are able to use the freshest fish and shellfish available.
